I only have 2 or 3 employees. Do I really need HR support?

The law doesn’t care if you have 2 employees or 200—the rules are the same. Even with one staff member, you need a contract and a solid foundation. My 'Safety Net' package was built specifically for micro-businesses so you can stay legal without it costing the earth.

What does ‘Primarily Online’ actually mean?

It means we do our work via email and video calls. This keeps my overheads low and my response times fast. It saves you paying for my travel time for a quick question. However, for the big stuff—like a difficult disciplinary or a strategy day—I’ll be there on-site when it matters.

Am I tied into a long-term contract?

No 'handcuffs' here. I believe you should stay because you value the support, not because a contract says you have to. My retainers are simple and transparent with a straightforward notice period.

How are you different from those big HR call centres?

When you email me, you get me—Gail. You won't be passed around a call centre to someone who doesn't know your business. I have 20+ years of experience in the 'real world' (factories, retail, engineering). I give advice based on reality and owner-to-owner empathy, not just a textbook.

Are you qualified?

Yes. I am CIPD Level 5 qualified, which is the industry gold standard for HR professionals. You’re getting expert, regulated advice from someone who has 'seen it all' across two decades in the industry.

What if I just have a one-off problem?

No problem! You don’t have to be on a retainer. We can look at a Pay-As-You-Go option or a 'Fix-It' Project to get your specific issue sorted via email and get you back to running your business.

How do we get started?

Just send me a quick email! We’ll have a virtual 'meet and greet' so I can understand your business. From there, most owners start with an HR Health Check so we can see exactly where you’re protected and where the gaps are.
